Collaborating with KasPro, Indonesian Railways Launches KAIPay

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) cooperates with KasPro, an affiliated company of Digiasia Bios, in launching the KAIPay digital wallet as an alternative payment method on the KAI Access application. The KAIPay digital wallet feature, which is supported by KasPro, is presented to provide security, convenience, and speed for KAI customers when transacting on the KAI Access application.

"KAIPay is part of the digital transformation that KAI is currently intensifying to accelerate the company's progress," said KAI President Director Didiek Hartantyo when launching KAIPay at Gambir Station, Thursday (18/11).

KAIPay is presented to see the increasing need for the rail transportation ecosystem for various digital services that can support customers in their activities.

KAIPay is a server-based electronic money service supported by KasPro for its digital wallet feature on the KAI Access application. Through KAIPay, payment transactions will be more practical because customers do not need to switch applications from ticket booking to payment.

"With KasPro's support for the KAIPay feature in the KAI Access application, it will make all payment activities easier, not only the need to buy train tickets, but other needs as well, which are integrated with only one feature." said Anggoro Prajesta, Director of KasPro.

KAIPay provides ease of transaction because it can not only be used to pay for train tickets. KAIPay can also be used to pay for food orders on trains, pay for first mile and last mile services, and various products and services available on the KAI Access application.

Payments made using KAIPay are guaranteed safe, because every transaction requires a KAIPay PIN as a lever for customer payments. Transaction security with KAIPay is also guaranteed because of the cooperation between KAI and KasPro which Bank Indonesia approved.

"We are also proud to be able to contribute to creating an easy and safe ecosystem for loyal Indonesian Railways passengers. We hope this collaboration can continue to grow so that it can create other new innovations." said Hermansjah Haryono, CEO of Digiasia Bios
